RAINED OUT!

Our extended family traditionally has a potluck during the Cedar Hills city days and firework night. This year it was on July 26th. We all got there about 7pm ate some good food, watched the dark clouds roll in, and suddenly.... A MICRO BURST! I have never seen my grandma move so fast! The thunder cracked and rain came pouring down! I, of course, grabbed the most important things, Hadlie in one arm and my pumpkin bars in another. Maddux and Cy ran along side of me to the car, Maddux bawling and screaming with fear like it was the end of the world and Cy looking at her like, "what's the problem its just water". Ryllie grabbed a random blanket and covered her head and ran to the car. We found out later it was Patrice's blanket. :) Casey heard the thunder crack and was in the car without a drop of rain on him, the rest of us were soaked! Anyhow, it was the quicket potluck ever, but definitely memorable.
